This is a promotional video for the OHSU School of Dentistry Green Team.

Penguin Jetpack

This is a video sample of my live light projection experiement I call PENGUIN JETPACK. It consists of dissolving/morphing images from multiple slide projectors. I also use an overhead-style projector for amoeba-like colored oil and water visuals. I've performed the light experiment many times providing a visual show to live music. I have several hours worth of slides and material.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

This is Jenna's birthday Hot Air Balloon Ride. It was about a 2 hour flight. We reached 5,000 ft! I was glad to land.

Thin

The distraction of luxury. The realization of consequence. The ultimate success of the inevitable. Alex Deussen plays a young professional with all the luxuries of an upper class lifestyle. Alex's image of stability and wealth are only skin deep however. Feeling empty, apathetic and disconnected from reality, the daily "spectacle" of american life, and Alex's own life, become more and more grotesque. After dreaming of his own mortality, Alex has a feeling of solace, knowing that his turmoil can have an end. He begins to explore ways to escape the grotesque reality he is living. Maybe to find true wealth.

THIN is an original music video that I made. It simmered for a couple of years and was finally finished in 2006. It is split into seven sections or "songs".

Tibet

This is a video slideshow of a trip Jenna and I took to Tibet in July of 2007. The slideshow is a collection of photos and video from all of the people in our group. We were in Lhasa, Tibet for about 5 days and then spent another 5 days on a camping trek through the mountains. One of the passes that we hiked was over 17,000 ft. The slideshow is separated into six sections. They are:
TIBET part 1- Barkhor Market, Jokhang Temple and the Institute of Tibetan Medicine.
TIBET part 2- Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and a Chinese Rug Factory.
TIBET part 3- Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.
TIBET part 4- Trek day 1 and 2.
TIBET part 5- Trek day 3 and 4.
TIBET part 6- Trek day 5.

China

This is a video slideshow of a trip Jenna and I took to China in July of 2007. The slideshow is a collection of photos and video from all of the people in our group. There are 4 parts to our China trip. They are:
CHINA part 1- Beijing, Cloisonne Factory, Ming Tombs, the Great Wall and Tiananmen Square.
CHINA part 2- Yiheyuan Palace, the Forbidden City and Hu Tong.
CHINA part 3- Rikshaw ride through Hu Tong and meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Wu.
CHINA part 4- Chengdu, Panda Bear Research Base and the Wuhou Temple.
